A Great 2nd Camera.
The Minolta G400 is an excellent buy as a spare or back-up camera. Of course its "out of date" now, but you can pick up a good one for pennies on Ebay, and consider: its all metal construction, its auto-focus, it uses dirt cheap SD cards, it has a viewfinder and a screen, and, unless you are printing enlargements bigger than 7 x 5 inches, you really dont need more than 4 megapixels do you? I leave mine in the car and its there for the opportunistic shots that always seem to turn up when you have'nt got your main camera with you.
And because its a Minolta you get good build quality and excellent optics. Spare batteries are easily available on Ebay if you need one. I'm pleased as Punch with my G400: if you (or the kids...) fancy yourself as a "snapper" but dont fancy carrying £200 worth of new camera down to the beach, get yourself one: you wont regret it!

Great value, a good looking watch.
This is a homage of the Montaigne railway watch: it doesn't have the 58 second/2 second wait movement of the original, but is a very attractive watch in its own right, and great value (I paid around £15 for mine.). I have found this automatic watch to be reliable and keep good time. The supplied strap is a bit cheap, I replaced mine with a plain black two-part nylon strap, though a Nato would work just as well. It looks great on the wrist. Recommended.

Cracking watch for the money.
1 of 2 found this helpful Cracking watch for the money, looks like a much more expensive example. Comfortable strap, fits well on the wrist. Easy to read in good light, but does need the back light in shadow. Keeps accurate time.
