the real deal

If you're reading this, you probably are buying one of these to replace one that's missing. Installation tip: slide the grommet over the hood support rod BEFORE installing, as it's a real mess to mount the support rod with the grommet already in place. The grommet will be difficult to remove when installed. Once in place, enjoy the ease of keeping your vehicle's hood propped open instead of having to use whatever makeshift device you had to use earlier!
