The unit was well packaged and arrived from the US undamaged.
All the parts functioned as expected. The light on the flexible gooseneck was very usable.
Even the handbook was reasonable.
I found the images to be clear with a reasonable depth of field, ideal for working on printed circuit boards.
One embuggerance was the changing of the objective lens unit. I wanted to change the 2X, as supplied with the alternate 1X. The handbook was a little vague but after undoing a small screw, the modules could be interchanged. I had been over cautious in the removal of the small screw in case something serious was dislodged.
Once this step was taken all worked well.
A good unit to own.

value for money & innovative with the nut.
the filter appears to be of good quality and is expected to perform as required, but this is impossible for me to verify.
The brand name does have a good reputation.
What is surely a feature that should be included on all filters is the nut on the end-making removal very easy without a filter removing tool. This is an excellent idea.
