Added Foam, Will Travel!
The flat bottom makes it perfect for my boat. I don't have cupholders in the seating area and needed something; I have bench seats, like couches. I glued foam to the bottom to keep it from sliding around and to protect the seats, and it's perfect. I like the ability to hold large or small cups, though that mechanism is not as smooth as I'd like. It's really nice having a little extra space for snacks, sunglasses, etc.
