Installation tips
1 of 1 found this helpful 1. If a micro sd card is installed, remove it prior to starting installation.
2. The four case screws require considerable torque to loosen. I worked my way around the perimeter gradually increasing the torque on each screw until all were removed.
3. The tape securing the battery is strong. After heating the unit with a cup warmer and a 1/4" non-conductive spacer, the battery was worked loose with an Ace Hardware paint can opener.
4. Note the position of the red battery wire prior to removal from the circuit board.
5. Use only paper thin tape to secure the new battery.
6. Make sure the speaker leads are in the notch in the case structure prior to closing.

50% Savings?
I could not tell the product received was a refurb. It looks new without a mark on it and the sound quality is what I would expect from Bose. This is Renewed done right.

Great Savings
I needed to upgrade my MS Office and the cost was prohibitive for the infrequent use it gets. OpenOffice fills the need and you can't argue about the cost. Great product!
