3 year old tires

The date code on the tires are 2022. For $100 more I could have gotten tire with 2025 date codes. If you drive a lot and go through tire in three or four years it's not a big deal. I don't, I replace at 7 years of the date code. I would spend the extra money and get newer tires. Hard to say what improvements may have been made in the tire in three years.
