Great for Linux
Used it on Arch Linux. It was immediately recognized and pairing was easy using bluedevil.

It works well but I have to reset sometimes.
The receiver does not miss a lick with my RC-6 remote control that came with my Hauppauge HVR-2250 dual tv tuner card using the Arch Linux operating system. The only problem that I have seen is that every once in a blue moon when I boot up I have to unplug it because I get error messages because of it. After unplugging it for a second I plug it back in and all is well. I haven't used the repeater cable that came with it so I can't comment on that.

A thermometer you can count on
I did a lot of research on thermometers before I decided to go with this one. I wholeheartedly believe I made the right choice. My biggest concern was the complaints about accuracy for the other thermometers. This one is extremely accurate. If you follow the instructions properly you will not have a problem. It is well designed and of high-quality. I don't think that you could do better. I have owned a few others and they were all terrible so I am glad I found this.
