Fun to shoot.
I got a remanufactured Daisy model 74 for $39.99 with free shipping from Famous Outdoors and it arrived on time and in great condition with 2 12 gram powerlets. It is very light weight and mostly made of plastic. It's pretty accurate for a BB gun, you make a neat 1" hole when you empty the 16 round magazine at a paper target from 15 feet. It holds 16 BBs in the internal clip instead of the advertised 15. It shoots about 200 fps instead of the advertised 350 but it's just enough velocity to shoot a BB relatively straight up to around 50 feet and the low velocity lets the 12 gram powerlets shoot an astonishing amount of shots. I haven't counted how many shots a powerlet gets but I loaded the BB reservoir to the brim and shot 48 more after I emptied the reservoir and the powerlet still gave a good hiss when ejected it. I recommend this to anyone who wants an accurate BB gun that is accurate and cost effective to shoot.

Well worth it
I got the crosman vigilante revolver to replace my crosman 3576 which took the same clips. It's the same gun for the most part. It seems to get about 60 full power shots. Pellets are quite accurate and judging by bottle cap penetration I think it's getting the advertised velocity and I'm borrowing a chrony from a friend to confirm this. BBs hit pretty hard but have about a 3" group at 20 feet. Pellets were less than one inch at the same distance but I believe I can get much tighter when I get used to shooting this again. The trigger pull is short and light when cocked. I got this for $45.99 and I would recommend this to anyone. The rifled barrel and ability to shoot pellets makes this gun far superior to BB only revolvers that are twice as much if not more.

Most work well.
I've gotten 40 count 12 gram powerlets a few times. I used 28 of 40 of the most recent box I got and two duds so far. Expect at least one dud when you get a 40 count box. It's still a good product and at a good price. I have one coming in the mail for $14.40 plus free shipping! I look forward to blasting paper targets with my modified crosman 1740, crosman 1750, crosman vigilante, Daisy 74 and Daisy 15xt. Also I recommend getting a Daisy 74 bb rifle so you can shoot over 250 BBs accurately with one 12 gram powerlet.
