Obsolete game console
Nice box, high-quality hardware.
The control is laggy and the cross is really stiffy.
The installation is tedious and after 3 forced updates expecting an improvement on something you will realize that the activation code never appeared because:
THE DEVICE IS DISCONTINUED!.
The company that produces this hardware retire the support and service on January 9th 2017.
So your best bet will be to Flash the device with a custom firmware.
Youtube has a couple of videos for that.
Enjoy playing with this obsolete game console :D
PS: The stick gets hot as hell, beware!

Is a retro must have!
3 of 3 found this helpful The Nintendo Family Computer (or Famicom for short) is a video game console made by Nintendo and sold in Japan starting in 1983. The Nintendo Entertainment System, which Nintendo sold outside Japan a couple years later, is nearly identical in behavior with a few changes in the cords, controllers, system look. While the Famicom was made to look friendly and well matched for a Japanese household with bright colors, the NES was made to look like the "future" to get it into the homes of Americans who had been burned by the crash of the second-generation consoles in 1983-1984.
Differences from NES
Input:
-On the original Famicom, the controller 2 has no Select and Start buttons but it has a microphone. It can be used on some games like Zelda.
-There is a 15-pin expansion port. The light gun and other specialty controllers connect to this instead.
-It can be connected with the Famicom Disk System and read games from a special Floopy Disk
Output:
-The Famicom had only RF output, not the yellow and red AV output seen on the side of the front-loading NES.
- The Famicom is NTSC
The Famicom audio path goes through the cassette, allowing boards to mix the console's audio with that from a synthesizer chip.
Other:
Since the Famicom was sold mostly in Japan. All the compatible games are in japannese, but there are a lot of games that can be played anyways.
