XBOX 360 or PS3

Weather the XBOX 360 has a faster GPU or the PS3’s CPU Cell is the best thing since sliced bread doesn’t really matter. At the end of the day, it is the games and the overall experience that will sell both of these consoles.... You can have the best hardware in the world, but if the games and the experience aren’t there, it doesn’t really matter.
Sources say that that Microsoft plans this Holiday season to add-on HD-DVD for the Xbox 360 will be priced such that console and peripheral combined are cheaper than Sony's PS3.
Microsoft also discussed its plans to launch a HD-DVD component for the Xbox 360 later this year, but did not reveal any further information regarding the pricing of the unit.
Currently, the Xbox 360 retails at $399.99, with the Core System version selling for $299.99, while the 60GB model of the PlayStation 3 retail at $599.99 and 20GB $499.99 when it arrives in late November.
Microsoft's seem to suggest that the HD-DVD peripheral, which allows playback of high definition movies using Toshiba's next-generation DVD standard, making an Xbox 360 and HD-DVD player bundle into a potentially attractive option at Christmas.
Sony's PlayStation 3 features a built-in Blu-Ray drive, which also offers playback of high definition movies, but in this case using Sony's competing next-generation DVD standard - which many industry commentators are tipping as the likely winner of this standards war, due to strong support from many movie studios and other content creators. Plus holds 50GB, so those game developers can go crazy!
There are many other factors to consider overall performance, but for every advantage the ps3 has the 360 wins in other more virtual categories. I'll have both as well as everyone else I'm sure. So If you are wondering if you should get an XBOX 360, I would say yes. The two consoles will have different features. XBOX 360 more interactive, with more teen adult titles. And the PS3 more family game titles and more family oriented! (eye toy etc.)

One last thing I have to say though, the Cell chip in the PS3 has lived up to the hype in what it can do for video. Decoding 12 HD streams at once! Your average PC has trouble with one and your top of the line PC can do 2, maybe 3. That's impressive.

Apple iPhone (1st Generation) - 8 GB - Black (Unlocked)

Apple iPhone (1st Generation) - 8 GB - Black (Unlocked)

Apple iPhone Replacement Battery & Battery Lifespan?

Some people are upset about having to send in their iPhone, pay over $80. and get a loaner phone when the battery drains out? And here's an even deeper question: did Apple really pull the wool over our eyes when it comes to t...he iPhone battery?

Even if I did know about the non-user replacement iPhone battery, I would not have expected anything else. Sure, if I opened up the iPhone box and saw a removable battery, I would have been shocked to say the least. But alas, that did not happen. (I was not surprised)

Apple's policy on batteries for the iPod certainly hasn't slowed down iPod sales or damaged market share. Why would they change their ways for the iPhone. Do I wish the iPhone and Ipod had a replaceable battery with out having to pull out the solder kit. (and a very steady hand) Absolutely, Some are a little ticked that it will cost them &79 plus $6.95 for shipping when the batteries dies? Yes. Will Apple change their design? No

Here are some tips to extend your battery life:
1. Pay attention to just a few common sense pointers will pay off with a longer battery lifespan and battery life for your iPhone. The most important thing is to keep your iPhone out of the sun or a hot car (even the glove box is bad). Heat will degrade your battery's life and performance the most.

2. Lock your iPhone

3. Turn off Wi-Fi (especially if you are not going to be using it)

4. Turn Off Bluetooth

5. Turn on auto-brightness

6. Turn off Equalizer

I hope this helps you out on you iPhone battery Lifespan. Enjoy it, The phone is a lot of fun!

PS3 a winner in many ways

PS3 or XBOX 360. We have both console in our test room and here is what we think! Currently, the Xbox 360 retails at $399.99, with the Core System version selling for $299.99, while the 60GB model of the PlayStation 3 ...retail at $599.99 and 20GB $499.99.
Microsoft's seem to suggest that the HD-DVD peripheral, which allows playback of high definition movies using Toshiba's next-generation DVD standard, making an Xbox 360 and HD-DVD player bundle into a potentially attractive option.(retail 199.99) But it will only play 1080i NOT 1080p for movies. Sony's PlayStation 3 features a built-in Blu-Ray drive, which also offers playback of high definition movies in 1080p, but in this case using Sony's competing next-generation DVD standard - which many industry commentators are tipping as the likely winner of this standards war, due to strong support from many movie studios and other content creators. Plus holds 50GB, so those game developers can go crazy!
There are many other factors to consider is overall performance. We loved the motion control on Blazing Angles. And the graphics are amazing. And just think this program is only using 1 decoding HD stream. So it will be amazing to see what is to come! And if you must get a compont cable or HDMI cable to get the best look out of your PS3.

PSOne and PS2 games will work great with the PS3. Xbox 360 only a few of our old games worked.

One last thing I have to say though, the Cell chip in the PS3 has lived up to the hype in what it can do for video. Decoding 12 HD streams at once! Your average PC has trouble with one and your top of the line PC can do 2, maybe 3. That's impressive.

SHOULD YOU BUY A PSP?

UPDATE: New firmware, 3.10. If you have a PS3 this new firmware is for you! You can now access video, Music, plus more off your PSP. The other great bonus with the PS3, you can download PSOne game for your PSP. SHOULD ...I BUY A PSP? Some people out there are saying the PSP is waste of money clearly don't know the true capabilities of the PSP. Yes THIS SYSTEM WASN'T PERFECT, NO SYSTEM IS WHEN IT IS FIRST RELEASED. For a handheld gaming systems, the PSP brings current generation home console graphics on the go. The fact that many games out there for the PSP only use 222mhz of the 333mhz CPU is simply amazing and provides much room for improvement in game quality, as if they needed to go much further. THERE IS NO COMPETITION TO THE PSP IN THE HANDHELD MARKET, yet. As for the multimedia capabilities like, uploading your photos, MP3 player, Video player, Web Browser, and more to come with each firmware update. Also coming for the PSP is GPS. These are just extra bonuses you get with the PSP. Yes the PSP didn't make it super easy for putting moves, etc on the PSP, but with each firmware update, they have made it very easy. That is the big plus of the PSP. If you have a wireless connection in you home, the PSP can always be updated by download the latest firmware update. You can also download movies, games, TV shows, and more! So if you could not decide if you should buy a PSP or NDS, don't listen to those PSP haters, they will become so jealous of the PSP they will scream about the lack of battery life (the really only major negative about the system WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT)... But we here at LCS GAMING have released a 3600mAh high capacity battery, now there is nothing to complain about!Read full review
