I have Hogue grips on all of my large caliber revolvers. The grips do not eliminate recoil, but they do make recoil very manageable. I bought this pair for my small J Frame revolver which is also an air weight so even with light loads the recoil is very noticeable. I immediately tried shooting this small revolver once I installed the grips, and again, they did not eliminate recoil, but made the revolver very controllable for follow up shots. I would highly recommend Hogue grips.

I would buy this item again.

I needed to re-thread a bolt on my outdoor sun house which got stripped during a heavy wind storm. I have a full set of standard taps and dies, but no metrics. I have used Irwin Products before, and I have always found them to be of high quality - this die was no exception. It quickly cut a new thread, and I re-assembled my sun house with no problem.

Get one if you reload.

I consider cartridge gauges to be essential equipment for those who hand load their own ammunition. I have one for every caliber that I reload. This is a well made and accurate gauge. I would recommend it.

Happy with the solitare game.

I bought this for something to do besides read on a long flight. It is in good condition, and seems to function properly. I do wish that it had come with instructions, but it is easy to figure out and the price was right.

A must have for those who reload their own ammunition.

Anyone who reloads their own ammunition should own a quality max cartridge gauge. This is especially true for those who reload for semi automatic pistols. A max gauge will instantly tell if a loaded cartridge is too long to properly feed in pistols, and also if the cartridge case is of the proper dimensions. I own a L.E. Wilson cartridge gauge for every caliber for which I produce hand loads.

Nothing like an original for a perfect fit.

I was returning my WWII Mauser 98 to its original condition after it had been sporterized. I bought an original stock that came with a front handguard which I found to be too short for a perfect fit. This original issue handguard was perfect; very happy with the finished product.

Perfect English Muffin size eggs.

I have tried other circular shaped egg rings, but there was always an issue with them - mainly that they were cheaply made and/or they were not made of stainless steel. These rings solved my problem as they are made of stainless steel, and they do no have any interior seems that trap particles of an egg or other food item that is being cooked. I use these rings at least once every week. I would absolutely buy these again.

Good for a limited purpose, but it is not a true cartridge guage.

This is not a true cartridge gauge, but is more of a chamber fit gauge for loaded rounds. A true cartridge gauge will test the fit of an entire loaded cartridge to ensure that it will not only chamber, but will also meet the overall cartridge length specifications. I use it only to check the fit of my cleaned and resized cartridge cases prior to reloading - not for actually testing a finished loaded cartridge. I have an actual cartridge gauge for that purpose.

Lee products generally work as they are intended; however, this die did not work for me at all. I replaced it with another brand.
