    Exactly as shown in the pictures, though some very minor wear, which adds to the historical significance as far as I am concerned. The item was of very good quality, especially by old Soviet standards, and was priced fairly. seller was excellent, and available to contact about the packages.     The tripod arrived within 24 hours as promised by the seller. The cardboard box it came in was very badly damaged in the centre, almost as if something had tried to bend it in the middle. It was a good job that the actual tripod was very well wrapped up by the seller. There does not appear to be any damage to the actual tripod. Net result - I took delivery of tripod that was superior in all respects to anything currently available in the West. I recommend this seller and will use him again
