    Item described as used, open box. It was actually new, open box as it had obviously never been used. It was packaged securely, and value was appropriate. Shipping, however, somehow got screwed up and item apparently sat at a transfer site until I sent seller notification that the item wasn't moving. At that point things began to happen and item arrived a bit late, but not objectionably so.
