About us

My philosophy is life is too short not to treat yourself. Simple. True. Heartfelt. This can take many forms such as buying a gift for yourself, the joy you get buying a gift for someone else or choosing something to sell on. They all have their place in our psyche. For me it is simply finding lovely treasures wherever I can and keeping them, gifting them or selling them on. I often wonder who the recipients are. Sometimes I get voluntary background and sometimes, if I'm lucky, a long distance friendship develops. A back and forth of emails of like-minded souls and something better, a mutual support through these difficult times.
Each item I find has spoken to me first or I have an idea that someone would love them and give it a good home, some utilitarian and some I can't bear to part with. Vintage is so full of nostalgia for me and sometimes I have a connection and can't figure out what it is for ages. Then, boom, the light goes on and it's a beloved memory from childhood. Lovely.
