    Shipping was standard, packaging was decent. Item came in as said. Value was fine. Seller ignored my messages "May I see the battery department?" Which I sent more than one time and on different days. Not one response. Went ahead and sent an offer. Was accepted. Battery department was trashed. Wishing it wasn't and wished I had pictures before risking it. Cleaned it. Doesn't work. Makes a nice shelf piece at least.

    Unconventional packaging, but it worked. Seller responded quickly to my offer and shipped quickly after that. A DC power adapter and multiple audio cables came in the box that weren't included in the listing and were very appreciated. Got the device working with a few parts salvaged off an old pmd222, and now I have a perfectly functional Marantz PMD430 stereo tape delay for an amazing value! It looks a little beat up, but it's okay, it's in a stack on my pedal board.
