I did ask for soft centres, not chewy ones and it remains to be seen if that is the case. This is a birthday present for an elderly neighbour who would find it difficult to chew toffees! As it is a present, I haven't opened the box. However, the outside of the box was neatly wrapped with a lovely label and arrived in good condition.
