About us

100 percent of my profit from each sale goes toward providing warm winter boots and clothing for the homeless people in my community of Redmond, Oregon and the surrounding community. I am "upgrading" the quality of the items I list continuously.

My work life started in high-end retail in New Orleans (at Maison Blanche) in the late 1970's, but even before that I designed and made my own clothing starting as a preteen. My grandmother taught me to make a pattern and sew a dress from scratch. My father taught me how to care for his uniform shoes. My first husband designed and made beautiful leather belts and handbags and sold them to pay our college tuition back when that was possible. I know quality construction when I see it, and I don't sell anything I would not put on my own family members.
