The damage appears to have happened during shipment. Seller’s communication and response was quick and he is working to get a replacement part from the manufacturer. I hope this goes well. The quality of the the running board is good, my concern is the mounting hardware. The bolts, washers and nuts are not heavy duty. Brackets r bent
