About us
THE STUDIO
Outside the Box Studios, the creators of the smoking pipes and accessories represented on the Smoker's Pipeline web site, is located in Granite Falls, Washington, about an hour outside of Seattle. The studio grew from an idea six years ago into the creative co-op it is today.
Many of our designs are influenced by growing up here in the Pacific Northwest. Wood and glass oriented, with a comfortable finish, these pipes and accessories are designed around the idea of creating pieces that are artistic, yet durable for everyday functionality.
Our goal is to offer craft pipes in a way they've never been seen before. Briarwood has long held the privilege of being the top wood to smoke out of, but has had itself restricted to the same image for so long. Our goal was to elevate this elegant material to the 21st century, combining it with glass for an unbeatable smoke. After combining the two ideal pipe making materials, we’ve sourced exotic, imported hardwoods to adorn the pipe.
