About us
I've been shore collecting shells since i was 5. Snorkeling since 10. Scuba since 17. I've doved the Caribbean to the Northern Pacific's Hawaiian Islands to the Southern Easter Island. Both locations i've discovered new species & went further out to visit Thailand as well. I'm also one of the first certified mixed gas divers & i dredge the depths for rarer species. I currently work with Malacologists & Museums around the World getting newly discovered species described (often donating my entire pieces in that process). I've flown up with living tissue for DNA work on live specimens when available out of my own pocket. I've judged shell shows repeatedly across the USA & Australia as well & have given lectures around the World on Shell Collecting. I have provided living animal shots of shells to numerous shell publications & at certain European Shows have been awarded trophies & plaques for my displays. I do this as i love shell collecting.
