About us

Roundhouse Electric Trains, Inc. was founded in 1983 by Mr. Tom Budniak, who continues to manage the repair business and advise on all store matters. The Cook family purchased the store from Tom in 2011 and continues to grow the business with the full time efforts of Kevin and Joshua Cook and the part time contributions of Adina Cook. Our goal remains to offer the best possible selection of model trains at affordable prices and to keep them running. We have 10+ retail rooms stocked with only model trains and accessories on the main floor, and we have 2 permanent layouts (HO & O gauges) in second floor rooms. And we design and build layouts !!!     Shipped and received Quickly. It was a little bit different than the picture in the listing. I spoke with Roundhouse Electric Trains and they decided that with a slight difference in the pictures that the only fair thing to do was to refund my order.
