In studying numismatics, it becomes quite clear early on that quality is the name of the game. 3rd party grading services have helped tremendously in this regard. At the same time, one also sees that all coins, even those of the same type and grade, may be vastly different in appearance, desirability and quality. For example, let us compare two Morgan Dollars that have both attained the grade of MS 64. One has a weak strike, poor design detail and subdued luster; the other has a strong strike, proof like surfaces, and blazing mint luster. The latter coin, despite sharing the same numerical grade as the former, is the more desirable and therefore valuable of the two. My objective is to identify and procure these exceptional numismatic items and offer them here.
