About us

My name is Paul, and I started PS Quilting in 2015 when my father was in the hospital. The quilting ministry at my church made a prayer quilt for my father, who was in ICU. One of the nurses asked if the local embroidery quilt company would make one offering to donate to the ministry. After seeing my father in the hospital, I knew I had to spend more time with my mother.
We didn't have many common interests, so I asked if we could make quilt together for the nurse. While sewing this quilt, I realized how much I enjoyed creating something unique to be enjoyed by someone. I found a way to work with my mom and spend time with her. I have since bought a commercial embroidery machine and became certified as an Embroidery Specialist through OESD so I could make my quilts more unique with embroidery embellishments. My career has been in commercial banking and Quilting is something I really enjoy and has helped me unwind after a long day.
