About us

PalmsandGinger is a mother-daughter reselling team based in Florida. "Palms", or "Mom" (or Cynthia) first began buying on Ebay 23+ years ago. Palms started selling on Ebay 23 years ago, when she was pregnant with her first child and in a postgraduate program. She grew up wearing vintage and thrifted clothing, and had a very particular style aesthetic, so buying clothing and other goods on the secondary market was second nature to her. Palms started buying textbooks and maternity clothes (do you have any idea how hard it was to find a maternity business suit in 2002?) on Ebay, and when she no longer needed them sold them again, and got hooked.

"Ginger" is one of Palms' children, is in high school, and, like her mother and grandmother before her, buys most of her clothes secondhand and enjoys finding little treasures at the local thrift stores. As the pseudonym implies, she is indeed a redhead.
