The Shure Beta 98AMP/C microphones I purchased were counterfeit. Thankfully, I got a full refund, but I had the hassle of packaging and shipping them back before receiving the refund. They did offer a partial refund if I would keep the microphones, but I have zero interest in fake Shure microphones. Their products ship from Humble TX, but their about page says Location: China. They had lots of positive reviews when I purchased. Now I see others buyers have complained about counterfeit items.
