About us

Welcome to Old School Tackle Company!

Based out of Osakis, Minnesota we have watched a lot change in the last 15 years.

With water clarity increasing, and weeds becoming more abundant, I realized commercially tied
Live-bait Rigs and Snell's just weren't cutting it. I started tying Live-Bait Rigs, Minnow/Leech Snell's,
and Crawler Harnesses. We had to adapt. By trying different lengths, different colors, and different
approaches to the weeds, water clarity, and other factors. End result: we started catching fish, and A LOT!

People started showing lots of interest when on slow days we still were netting fish and filling the live-well.
Between people wanting to catch fish, and people wanting the Rig's, Old School Tackle Company was formed.

I hand tie all of the Snell's and Rig's produced individually. I take pride in what I do, and I look forward to having you be successful on the water!
