Thx. Marquis stones are tricky sometimes; the cut method requires a break to each marquis point, not to be confused with anything inherent in the stone. The flare from a marquise cut is quite different from a brilliant. It has more of a baguette sear which when complemented with brilliants is a stunning effect. Where the brilliant is white and overall sparkly, the marquise and brilliant provide the searing fire that reaches further. Its a bargain though... 3.5ct selling at cost.
