Our Story
FOUNDED & GROUNDED
NOVA was founded in 1923 by three brothers with the vision of bringing light and warmth to their fellow Brooklynites. The business thrived through the depression years and NOVA was able to open showrooms in High Point, NC, the NY Furniture Exchange and America’s Furniture Mart in Chicago. Two of the brothers, Israel Langbaum and David Moscowitz spent much of their time selling the line on the road, while Murray Moskowitz ran the factory in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. The designs were functional, purposeful and built to last. Their mission was to solve real-world problems while making homes warmer and cozier.

Two of the five lampshades had cracks/chips. I contacted NOVA, but they didn't respond (AT ALL). I love the lamp; I want to keep the lamp; I just wanted two replacement shades, but they didn't even acknowledgment my emails. For a high priced floor lamp, I would have expected MUCH better customer service. I am greatly disappointed that no one every got back to me.

We apologize for the aggravation we have caused. To be honest, we are a 100 year old lighting vendor, but we are newer to eBay and online retailing. We simply did not see your message.
All of our products are inspected in 3 separate QC inspections. The lamp did not ship out with 4 pieces of broken glass. It must have gotten
damaged in transit. We will send you a brand new one.
