From Newborns to Seniors - MVCS provides programs and services to all ages. We empower children, families, and individuals to lead their healthiest lives. While Martha's Vineyard is a top vacation destination, attracting visitors from all around the world - our year-round population is one of the poorest in the commonwealth of Massachusetts. With a seasonal economy and a high cost of living, Martha's Vineyard can be a difficult place to live without the emotional, financial, or social resources available to help cope with personal, health and familial problems.
When life happens, MVCS is here. We open our doors to all who call this island home, regardless of financial, cultural or physical barriers. With over 100 volunteers, a staff of 110, and various community partnerships, MVCS acts as a safety net for our community.
