  Package was leaking when it arrived, created a huge mess and had to be thrown out. Because I couldn't take a picture at the time, seller refused to refund. I was unable to retrieve the package from the trash, and the photo of the leaking pump was not evidence enough. Only negative experience I've had on Ebay.

  Verification of item damage to the seller is only common sense. If you cannot provide photographic evidence that a package was damaged in transit, how can you expect a refund? As a seller, I am lied to on a regular basis.
