About us
Maple Shade Mercantile came into existence in 2003 making scrub hats and selling on eBay. The hub of the operation was my kitchen table and tiny sewing space. As I sit here typing this, it is hard to remember those days of being cramped into a small room of a small house. Things have expanded since then to fill a larger sewing studio filled with over a hundred bolts of beautiful fabric ready to sew up into a fashionalbe and comfortable scrub hat.
