This is the 3rd time I've tried to purchase this teapot, 2 other sellers listed as item new-open box but when received they each were very used and in horrible shape - I am so relieved and delighted to finally be dealing with an honest person!   I was so excited the item was actually new that I left feedback right away. Turns out it doesn't work, so I am returning it for a refund. Seller answered my messages promptly and I don't think they realized it doesn't work, so my original feedback still stands. Since this was my third try I guess I'm just not supposed to have an electric teapot :(
