  The item never worked; it was evident that the previous batteries had leaked, causing damage to the device. The description said it used a rechargeable battery, but it didn't match that model. After contacting the seller, they refunded me for the cost of the device; however, the shipping, taxes, and handling costs to my country were not covered.
