About us

Hello! Welcome to kst144, my eBay store! I have been a lifelong train and antique toy collector (over 45 years in those hobbies), and eBay has become the outlet to allow me to add to my collection, upgrade what I already have, and pass what I no longer need on to other collectors! Although I tend to be a bit of an eclectic collector and seller, I do specialize in the trains and toys of Louis Marx & Company. Having grown up in Wheeling, West Virginia, about 10 miles from the Glendale factory of Marx Toys, I have had a lifelong connection to them. I now live outside of Philadelphia, PA, but I am the Allan Miller associated with the Kruger Street Toy & Train Museum in Wheeling.

Check back often for lots of classic toys and electric trains - especially those wonderful Marx trains, playsets, action figures, toys and dolls! You'll also see a few oddball items, like tools and books. I try to post at least a few things every day, so there will always be something new!

Anyway, this Marx boxcar looks just like the well-lit and composed photos and the detailed, honest description. Very well padded with lots of crumpled newspaper and bubble-wrap in a sturdy box.     The Marx "The Meteor" train set I'd ordered arrived earlier than expected, well packaged (as always with this seller) and exactly as described/photographed. Box will take some time to fix up but I love a challenge while the locomotive and cars look in good shape for their age - I already have a replacement coupler on order for the one car that has a broken one. Happy to finally have one of these sets to go with its sister set "The Reliable" and I couldn't be happier 😁
