Securely packaged but not so much packaging material it takes an hour to untape & unwrap and another half hour to clean up the room and dispose of used tape, packing materials, cardboard and boxes afterwards. Pottery easily removed from surrounding packaging. Thanks! Love the size and color. Glaze matches a large crock I already have from another potter. Will treasure for years to come.
