About us

HRG Offroad is a company created by Ben Huffman in a tiny 2 car garage. originally known as "Honda Rescue Garage", Ben was restoring older Hondas in his spare time. in late 2015, he built a lifted off-road themed 4WD 1991 Honda Civic Wagon known as the "war wagon" which became surprisingly popular. In 2017, he began receiving requests for the suspension lift that was created for it. He recognized the need for a quality product to fill that niche, and shifted the focus of the business to exclusively making lift kits for various Honda cars. In early 2018, the decision was made to quit his mechanic job at a local car dealership and pursue making lift kits full time. Today, with hundreds of products available, HRG occupies a 19000 square foot facility in the heart of Mooresville, NC, AKA "Race City USA" HRG Offroad now manufactures, sells, ships, and develops all kits in house.
