We began this journey in 2020 - after a few years of prospecting for fun in Arizona, California, New England, and New York. We mine sustainably, using no power equipment and working on the surface. It is a delicate process with extremely minimal impact on the environment. Recovering these gems is a delicate act moving very small (sometimes frustratingly small) amounts of material and large amounts of time (and Advil). If we do end up posting items recovered with power equipment it will be clearly noted in the listing. At times a pocket or cluster can be "reconstructed" using a special adhesive. This too will be clearly noted in any listing
