The conversion/adapter does make it possible to put RWD wheels on the AWD axle, however affixing via the standard nut is impossible with the RWD wheels I’ve tried because the shape of the face interferes with the tool being able to reach the threads. And because the nut is narrower than the bearing that would normally be present on the RWD car, there actually is not a good way to make use of this item since the nut will not sufficiently hold the rim to the adapter. I cannot recommend these.
