  It arrived in need of gluing, as one of the scrolled pieces below the shelf had become completely detached either before or during shipping. However, it was packaged fairly well, in a box with a lot of popcorn. The piece is just GORGEOUS, even better than I could have imagined before purchasing. The pictures were not very good and didn't do justice to the piece. We have reglued it and will put it up on the wall in the next say or two. I could not be more thrilled!!!
