We settled on an amount, though the seller was palpably displeased by the result despite agreeing to it, and reminded me the proceeds were for charity. I stand with the cause and am happy to contribute to it, but I don’t believe it’s fair to posit that I should pay more for a now devalued collectible on the basis of charity alone. Do not let this stop you from supporting this charity!
