About us
Golf Pad is a team of golf and technology enthusiasts. Headquartered in Kirkland, WA, the company was started by ex-Google engineers in 2011. Our first product was a golf app for Android, and then expanded to iPhone. Over the years it became a top-rated choice for golfers, praised for ease of use, yet loaded with features.
We were one of the pioneers of tee-to-green shot tracking. Initially, we built it as a feature in the mobile app. Golfers loved the insights this provided, but wanted something that did not require fiddling with the phone during a round. To make tracking automatic we launched Golf Pad TAGS for Android in 2015. In summer of 2019, we launched iPhone compatible TAGS, to the delight of our many Apple customers.
The future
We continue to innovate, bringing new features, like advanced statistics, intelligent club recommendations, free tournament management software, rich smartwatch functionality and more.
