About us
Gavin's Lemonade Stand is a father and son's learning project.
It all started when Gavin who is 8 years old wanted to buy Amiibos for his Nintendo Switch. As a parent, my answer was always, "No. You'll have to add it to your wishlist for your birthday or Christmas" which he did.
A couple of days later we were driving home and other kids in the neighborhood were selling Lemonade which we stopped at as we like to support our neighbors. The second we got home, Gavin ran upstairs to the kitchen. Curious, I followed him. As he's searching in the fridge he told me, "If I make a lemonade stand, maybe I can make enough for an Amiibo!" I explained that I'm really happy he wants to make money but also explained that I don't want to have a stand right next to theirs.
Then I had an aha moment! Maybe he could create a digital lemonade stand. I told him about eBay. Gavin agreed and we opened his store together and he named it Gavin's Lemonade Stand. Welcome and thanks for visiting =)
