Emmaus Hampshire is a vibrant and thriving social enterprise community and refuge for homeless people (Companions). They work full time to prepare for work beyond Emmaus and rebuild their confidence and self-respect. We provide a home and meaningful work in the shops, cafe, van and building maintenance. Emmaus International has been helping poor and homeless people around the world since 1949.
About us
We offer good quality, secondhand clothing, shoes, jewellery, furniture and household items. All have been donated to our charity by local people living in Winchester, Southampton or surrounding villages. Buy here online or drop into our shops in town. Emmaus Hampshire gives homeless people a safe place to live, work, start a new life and wake up every morning with a purpose. Shop income supports 40 formerly homeless people (Companions), who live in the Emmaus Community in Winchester and work in the shops and cafe in Winchester, Eastleigh and Southampton.
