About us
Desert Den is a custom hat maker celebrating the Grateful Dead ecosystem of music, people, places & experiences...all with a uniquely rugged West Texas charm. These hats are bespoke and unique -- handmade with additions to create a worn/broken in look and feel.
This all started not long ago because I could never find Dead (or other bands) trucker hats that the wife and I both liked. So I just decided to make them myself. Then everybody wanted one. This escalated quickly.
Spring '24 Collection (Current inventory): Consider this our "Spring Training" era. All one-offs with a range of styles/fits/patches to see what works. Once these are gone, they're gone. Ain't nothin' gonna bring them back!
Coming late Summer '24: Our first official seasonal small batch release of 4 hats, with just 50 of each being produced.
