When I first started collecting basketball cards nearly 30 years ago, we only had a few stores around us and relied on our friends' inventory. Unfortunately, the limited options and repeat cards stunted my interest. Today, we hobbyists, new and old, are connected to each other like never before. Our friends' inventory can be found 3 miles or 3,000 miles away and each of us has an opportunity to contribute to each others chase.
