The CPU arrived today in an anti-static bag inside a simple bubble mailer. No other protection was afforded. Although it looks undamaged, and the CPU is very clean. I would have hoped for at least another layer of mini bubble wrap to protect the sensitive transistors on the bottom, though. The processor was super cheap, so I’ll be pleasantly surprised if it works when installed.
