About us

My mother, a talented stained glass artist and jewelry designer, recently passed away. Throughout her life (mostly in the 70s and 80s), she traveled the world to build a wonderful collection of beautiful and fascinating things. Many of these items are very old, unusual and one-of-a-kind. At Christmas time, when we would all gather for the holidays, she would set up games of "Guess what this is?", and we would all make up creative descriptions of different items and their uses. I do apologize in advance if some item is described incorrectly as it is often a "best guess". I hope you enjoy these objects as much as we have as these items express her love of beauty and culture.
