MFNikkors specializes in the maintenance, repair, cleaning, and digitizing or "chipping" of Manual Focus Nikkor Camera Lenses.
During a standard CLA(Clean, Lube, Align) we take a lens down to all of its individual parts and pieces. Followed by a complete deep cleaning, inspection, and proper lubrication of all helical threads. To ensure all sediment, dust, and oil deposits are safely removed we meticulously clean every lens element group to the highest standards. On occasion, depending on the situation, we can even tackle light fungus growth.
Chipping brings modern convenience to our vintage manual lenses in that EXIF data is captured and stored regarding Focal Length and Aperture.
