This item, a self leveling laser, is much better than described. The posting mentioned scratches and scuffs. Maybe, but very hard to see. This laser tool is nearly new! As far as communication goes, i asked this seller if he (or she ) could lock the swinging pendulum down for shipping. This seller sent me 2 messages saying that it didn't appear to have a lock. So i requested packaging that would protect it. Bubble wrap on the bottom, sides and top. Who does that? I'm a happy camper! AOK!!!
