  Item not “nearly new”. Lid to box is torn, and hinge is broken. It’s an old tear as you can see the fraying of the cardboard. Seller claims it is new and was damaged in transit, and also claimed it was packaged carefully. It was in a plastic bag that was loosely tired. Seller didn’t respond after first communication, to assist w/ return. This was a gift for a medical student friend. Now it is going to goodwill. Waste of money. Appearance is unpleasing. 1st neg review in 25 years of using eBay.

  I would ask anyone reading this feedback to go back and read through my excellent seller feedback on eBay over the last 20+ years, especially regarding my item descriptions and packaging of items. This customer indicated ahead of time “they were leaving feedback that goes with the product” even after I had offered a full refund of the product upon its return. The customer also thought they had purchased a brand new item when it was listed as "like new" (with no damage at all on the product).
